Well spotted Blu!

I'd heard a few days ago that apparently our Jim had tweeted that they were very close to agreeing a deal with Al Jazeera to broadcast all the home games, but this seems to say that EVERY Forest game will be shown?

Good news on two fronts - there should be a lot more free flowing rivers to find and also with an Egyptian/Iraqui/Middle Eastern proxy server and about 10.00GBP/month, people like me that are a long way from the UK can watch every match.

Happy days.

Let's hope I can access the rivers. I'd rather pay, but I'm well outside the required area for that. The quality isn't great, but far better than nothing.

Have Al Jazeera sports ever broadcast legally in the UK?

I signed up to Al Jazeera online a few days ago by getting an IP address in Egypt (via a VPN connection).

For those of you that aren't aware what a VPN (Virtual Private Network) is, you just sign up to a provider (I use PureVPN at approx £32 for 12mths).
Then just choose the country you want an IP address in from a dropdown list in their app and click connect. Very Simple.

Once you have a connection in Egypt you can sign up to Al Jazeera TV.
Then I just had to pay £12 a month (via paypal so very secure) for a full online Al Jazeera subscription.
They show all the matches you find online but the quality is a lot better and there's no annoying pop ups.
UK commentary as well.

I have a season ticket so will see the home games live but looking forward to watching the away matches.

Well well well

Another Masterstroke, think of the following we will have in the Middle East in a few Years time and the merchandise sales.

You know what ? I dismissed it as over excitable ambition when I was told he intended NFFC to be an Established top six Club a few months back, not so sure I would be quite so dismissive now

Be interesting to see what the quality of picture and commentary is like.
I wonder if they will use Fray & McGoven commentary from RN

Fawaz just continues to impress us all and this is great news - we were a european brand but this will certainly help us towards being a truly global brand. It's great to have a chairman who is truly a fan and will do whatever it needs and will pay whatever it costs to get us back to the elite - love the guy

Hi Vicar and good to hear from you, I thought I was the only Tricky in CY but I'm glad to see there are at least two of us!

I'm based in that den of iniquity called Limassol.

Feel free to get in touch!

Instead of clicking on the Egypt tab Doc click on the USA (American) one - It costs $30:00 (about £20:00) and as far as I know there is no monthly subscriptions but I may be wrong.

Great news anyway and better still if we can get the away games.

Great news. Hopefully a load of Middle Eastern kids will be brought up watching Forest regularly, spending loads of cash on merchandise, filling the clubs coffers,....

I think it's a shame that we couldn't have got Bader Al Mutawa to sign as well.

More evidence, if any were needed, of Fawaz's long term ambitions to keep pushing the club forward.

This is as 'big' a deal as it was when Manure ventured into the Asian market and could net us a very decent bit of 'outside investment', which will be great when the Gunter money runs out (sorry ).

Must have cost him a decent few quid to purchase the broadcasting rights though? Good job the bloke's not skint, isn't it?

If you choose any other location than the Middle East it won't stream.
Al Jazeera just says "geoblock"
Just tried US and it didn't work.

You don't get access to the 6 channels if you don't sign up.

Maybe you get free access to one channel but not the others I think.

Just watching Leicester v Leeds on HD6! :-)
